Savremena’s swimmer Tara Ćulibrk wins 6 medals this summer – 3 gold and 3 silver ones

A school is only as successful as its students. Once again Tara Ćulibrk shone like a star in the world of swimming, bringing medals to Savremena from yet another competition.

At the summer national championship which took place 20 – 22 July in Kragujevac, International School Savremena’s Y13 student won three gold medals and one silver medal in relay, and two silver medals in single events – 50m and 100m crawl.

Tara

The results she achieved are extraordinary both for Tara herself, and for International School Savremena which takes pride in having such an exceptional student!

The string of success continues – sister Tea follows in Tara’s footsteps

The student of International School Savremena has pursued swimming for more than ten years. So far, she’s won over 100 medals in national competitions, including the national championship in 2016, the winter state championship and many others.

Even though Tara’s success is well-known and diverse, we would like to use this opportunity to congratulate Tara’s younger sister Tea on her success, as well. She followed in her sister’s footsteps, winning two gold medals in the 400m and 800m crawl long-distance events.

Savremena is very proud of yet another success of Tara’s. We are with you Tara for all your future achievements, as well!

See why athletes choose International School Savremena:

I am extremely pleased and proud to be the parent of a Savremena student. During my first encounter with the school management, when I asked about my child’s potential enrolment, I saw how much love, enthusiasm and professionalism you put in your work. I was impressed by your approach, ideas and methods. I couldn’t believe something like this existed in our country! It doesn’t take long to realise that this is a school you would recommend to everyone. Creativity, modern technology, top-quality education, and most of all, the humaneness that can be seen throughout the school, make it truly different and worthy of its name – Savremena Gimnazija. With such an approach, the success of this school and, consequently, our children’s success, is unavoidable. Congratulations! Jelena Đorđević, Andrija’s mum
