If you thought that students in private schools study less and get marks easily – you were wrong. In Savremena Gimnazija students do study hard but with a good reason – to prepare well for what is coming up at the university and in career alike. The knowledge and skills that we teach here are the ones which will shadow you throughout your life, providing you with a great entry point for universities in Serbia or abroad, as well as for future career opportunities.

Our teachers are seasoned educators, with years of experience and outstanding professionalism. They demand a lot, but give as much in return: responsibility, respect, effort and knowledge. Each year, you will choose your mentor – one of the teachers who you can talk to, confide in and who will be your support at school, someone to share the good times and the bad.

Our lessons are multimedial, wholly participative and experiential, which means that learning cannot fail to involve the whole person. You will also learn in many ways: using video and audio material, interactive boards, tablets and laptops. All material will be available on the online platform, which you can access from any location. At this school you will get familiar with various methodological trends, ranging from teamwork to self-reliant research project. Various workshops and clubs will also be available to you - whether you want to play in a band, do some extra lab work, edit the school newsletter or organise a solo exhibition. All your efforts and hard work will be duly rewarded with one of our scholarships.

At our school, you can choose between a teaching programme in English or in Serbian, selecting either the Serbian National or Cambridge International curriculum. If you would like to take up Cambridge but your English is not good enough, there's a special preparatory course designed for you and included in our Mix package. The choice you make at the beginning will determine whether you will get a national or an international diploma at the end of your secondary education. If you are ambitious enough, obtaining both diplomas is also possible.
