Savremena Gimnazija students on the field trip lessons

On Monday, 24 May, Savremena Gimnazija’s first-graders went on a field trip where they had lessons designed as an interdisciplinary integration of different subjects and learning through praxis.

The Savremena Gimnazija first-graders toured the archeological park “Viminacium”, picturesque, medieval Ram fortress, Ram-Zatonje sands, the Impressive village of Kisiljevo, and Srebrno Lake.

Field Trip Lessons

During a day trip, the students, organized in groups, showcased their knowledge referring to 10 different school subjects while completing various interdisciplinary, combined and field tasks that included observation, measurement and exploration.

These first field trip lessons provided Savremena Gimnazija’s first-graders with an opportunity to realise one more time that the concept of learning in Savremena Gimnazija is unique and truly different. It was an interesting and valuable experience for the students who experienced group work, enhanced mutual communication and explored looking for a mutual approach while solving problems.

I am extremely pleased and proud to be the parent of a Savremena student. During my first encounter with the school management, when I asked about my child’s potential enrolment, I saw how much love, enthusiasm and professionalism you put in your work. I was impressed by your approach, ideas and methods. I couldn’t believe something like this existed in our country! It doesn’t take long to realise that this is a school you would recommend to everyone. Creativity, modern technology, top-quality education, and most of all, the humaneness that can be seen throughout the school, make it truly different and worthy of its name – Savremena Gimnazija. With such an approach, the success of this school and, consequently, our children’s success, is unavoidable. Congratulations! Jelena Đorđević, Andrija’s mum
