During the second week of December, our school was visited by four colleagues within the project "CLIL PROJECT – KA122 Short-term projects for the mobility of learners and staff in school education" It was initiated by the Istituto Omnicomprensivo di Alanno from Italy, which wants to improve competencies of their teachers in the use of the CLIL teaching method by observing the work of professors at Savremena.
CLIL teaching model – Studying non-linguistic content in a second language
CLIL is a teaching model that combines the teaching of a subject and a second language at the same time – non-linguistic content is studied in a second language.
The coordinator, Sabatino Quieti, especially emphasised the excellent knowledge of foreign languages of our professors and praised the hard work and dedication of our students.
We would like to thank all the professors who hosted our partners from Italy and thus contributed to the reputation and promotion of our school.
