For the third time in a row, students from Savremena Gimnazija have participated in the international photo contest "Wiki Loves Monuments".
"Wiki Loves Monuments" is the world's largest photo contest, which has broken several Guinness World Records and is held every year in September and October.
The students took several hundred photographs
This year, our students photographed monuments in the central streets of Belgrade, and through the lenses of their cameras captured the pedestrian zone protected as a spatial cultural-historical entity, that is, Knez Mihailova Street. During a tour that lasted approximately two hours, the students took several hundred photographs, which they will submit to Wikimedia's multimedia repository and compete with around a hundred other participants.
Valuable cash prizes await the best photographs, and we wish our students the best of luck! The announcement of the winners is expected at the end of October and the beginning of November.
