Savremena Gimnazija student Mia Petrović has become a member of the Serbian Volleyball National Team

Savremena Gimnazija student Mia Petrović has become a member of the Serbian Volleyball National Team in the pioneer category. Mia transferred from the Volleyball Club "Vizura" to the Volleyball Club "Crvena Zvezda" in 2020 upon invitation.

She plays as a middle blocker. With the team, she has won numerous medals, including New Year's tournaments in 2021, 2022, and 2023, as well as the Serbian National Championship in 2022. Mia also received the award for the best middle blocker at the tournament in Lazarevac in 2022.

I look forward to future successes that I will achieve both with my team and as a member of the national team

I am very happy to have become part of the national team. I have always dreamed of playing for Serbia. My coach Alma Bešlagić Dobričanin played a crucial role in achieving this success. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in all previous tournaments and to win all the medals together with my team. As a player, I believe that my teammates have played a significant role in my development and progress. I look forward to future successes that I will achieve both with my team and as a member of the national team.

In addition to being a successful athlete, Mia is an excellent and exemplary student of the class I-5.

On this occasion, we congratulate Mia on her extraordinary achievements and eagerly await her future successes!
