An exciting visit by the students of Savremena High School to the Gallery of the Home of the Serbian Army on Republic Square in Belgrade marked a day full of inspiration, discovery, and cultural immersion. This visit, organized with the aim of expanding horizons and fostering creative thinking, provided students with an unforgettable experience of encountering diverse artistic works.
Together with the art teachers Zorana Milićević and Tanja Gligorijević, the students had the opportunity to visit and experience the exhibition titled "Struggle for Serbian Statehood and Freedom of the Serbian People" at the Gallery of the Home of the Serbian Army. The encounter of high school students with the creations of Đuranović and Ivanović showcased, artistically molded, the struggle of the Serbian people for their freedom and their state.
Walking through the gallery space, students had the opportunity to enjoy a rich collection of artworks encompassing different styles, techniques, and themes. From classical paintings and sculptures to contemporary experimental works, each piece carried its unique story and aesthetic expression, stimulating lively interaction among the visitors.
Interactive Learning of Savremena High School Students through Reportin
At the exhibition, students were tasked with creating a report on the event itself, and what completed the whole story was the presence of both artists, both painters and sculptors, which particularly motivated the students to approach the task seriously. Through filming and photography, as well as interviews with the artists, they created excellent video recordings.
Through this inspirational visit, students not only expanded their knowledge of art but also strengthened their creativity, empathy, and aesthetic sensitivity. The Gallery of the Home of the Serbian Army on Republic Square in Belgrade remains an essential place for those who wish to immerse themselves in the world of art and be inspired by its power to shape and transform our perception of the world.
