Humanitarian aid for Vera Radivojević Home for Children and Youth

Continuing the tradition of helping others and giving gifts to those in need, students of Savremena Gimnazija launched an initiative to collect aid for the wards of Vera Radivojević Home for Children and Youth in Bela Crkva in October. 

Wards of this children's home are aged between 10 and 23, and students of Savremena Gimnazija collected and donated food, hygiene items and clothes.

The humanitarian aid was delivered on Monday, 9 November, and the donation, as well as the initiative itself organised by Savremena Gimnazija made the wards of the home very happy. The Director of this children's home, Zoran Stanković expressed his gratitude, as well as his desire for Savremena’s students to get acquainted with his wards who will take them on a tour of Bela Crkva when the epidemiological situation allows.  

Savremena students are always happy to take part in humanitarian actions

At the beginning of the school year, students of Savremena Gimnazija participated in another humanitarian campaign to raise funds and help Lana Jovanović to win her life's battle. The funds were delivered through the BUDI HUMAN Foundation.
