Parents to receive SMS notifications on students’ attendance

Starting from late October, the parents of Savremena International School students have another important and useful benefit: every day, they will receive SMS notifications regarding their children’s attendance.

This SMS service will be in its trial, beta version for a while yet, so we kindly ask all parents for understanding.

What are SMS notifications like?

Every day, at the beginning of the first period, the parents will receive notifications via SMS, regarding whether their child has arrived to school and if they are present in class.

Every time a change occurs - for instance, if the student is present at one period, but not the next, and vice versa, the parents will receive an SMS notification about it. The messages will arrive 5 minutes after the teacher records attendance.

Thanks to this unique service, which we have created in order to facilitate the communication and increase the transparency among the parents and the school, the parents will always know whether the student has arrived to school on time, whether the attendance is regular, and what periods have been attended.
