Savremena’s Summer School:

Let’s have fun and learn together!

Our incomparably modern Cambridge secondary school has set up a summer school programme for students aged 12 to 18. The summer school programme will last from the 22nd of June until the 10th of July 2015. This year only, students who register for the programme will be able to attend the summer school free of charge.

Making friends, playing games and having fun are the means through which you will explore OKenglish, Okmathematics and OKcomputing and learn about things you always wanted to know as well as the most interesting aspects of English, maths, programming and design.

A school in which learning is A-OK

OKenglish-300x300If you are wondering why the names of the subjects contain that extra “OK”, it’s because learning at Savremena’s summer school is A-OK! No tedious information, no boring tasks or uninspiring units and no strict teachers.

Knowledge will result from games, solving riddles, writing blogs and content for web pages, discovering tricks and shortcuts to the heart to the matter and most importantly doing all those things in teams, with friends.

All of that is made possible through workshops in the modern and well-equipped Google Technology Classroom and the use of the newest technologies like tablets, laptops and interactive whiteboards.

At our school, learning is much more than just OK. Students don’t come to this school because they have to but because they want to, because they enjoy it and because they cannot wait to see their friends.

Free for early birds

OKmathematics-300x300The summer school programme will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. over the course of three weeks.

The workshops will be held at Savremena International School at 45 Šumatovačka Street, in the Vračar municipality of Belgrade.

This is a unique opportunity for students in their final three years of primary school who are starting to think about where to enrol as well as for students of other secondary schools to familiarise themselves with the Cambridge programme and the innovative teaching approach at Savremena International School.

This year only, students can attend the summer school completely free of charge, while the coming generations will be charged the full fee of 300 euros. However, the knowledge, experiences and friendships students gain at our summer school are priceless.

How to register

The registration process is quite simple:
1. Fill in the registration form at the bottom of the page before the 20th of June.
2. A Savremena International School coordinator will contact you with details on the programme’s start time, your group and the timetable.
