Students of Savremena Gimnazija demonstrated their compassion once again.
This time, the funds were raised for the Association of Parents of Children with Malignant Diseases Zvončica. Our student Sara Milošević learnt on social media that this association was in need of hygiene products for children and babies, and shared this information at the session of the Student Parliament, prompting the class representatives to inform their classmates, and so the action began. The transition to online classes slowed down the action a bit, but we still managed to raise the funds and donate them to the Association.
The Association of Parents of Children with Malignant Diseases Zvončica was founded in 1992 at the Department of Hemato-oncology of the Mother and Child Healthcare Institute Dr Vukan Čupić in Belgrade. The Association helps sick children, their families and hospitals, and the members include parents and close relatives of sick, cured and deceased children, former patients and healthcare professionals.
Students of Savremena Gimnazija have demonstrated that they still possess extraordinary compassion and humanity even in these difficult times.
