On Tuesday, 10 November 2020 a student from Savremena Gimnazija, Aleksandar Kašerić from class I-2, visited Primary School Savremena as a guest-teacher at teacher Dijana Šarac’s Biology lessons.
Aleksandar conducted a few experiments in front of all senior grades in Primary School Savremena. He independently performed chemical experiments such as “lava lamp”, “purple smoke”, “genie in a bottle”, “thickener cocktail” and “rainbow paradise”, as the fifth-graders named it. The students were amazed, and Aleksandar left with a promise that he would come back and conduct some more experiments.
“Aleksandar is a student who particularly excels in Biology and Chemistry. From what he has shown so far, one can easily conclude that he is greatly interested in the abovementioned sciences. They, in fact, represent a foundation to his goal, which is to become a doctor. Savremena Gimnazija has recognized his talent and his abilities and we, the teachers, will strive to motivate and support him additionally in his further progress,” said Dijana Šarac, the Biology teacher.
