Young Savremena Gimnazija journalists, accompanied by their Serbian language and literature teacher and one of the Journalists’ club heads, Marija Pilčević Tomašević, visited Sport Club Television.
The visit to Sport Club Television was a good experience that helped me expand my knowledge about television. I learnt what has to be done and how many people participate in broadcasting a programme or a game. We could also enter the studio where the news are produced, which was really interesting, said Savremena Gimnazija student Estel Anđelina Rakić.
<pDuring our visit to Television Sport Club we saw how sport news is made. We learnt details relevant for the programme production. We were told, but we could also see it ourselves, how many people are necessary to get the final product you see on the TV screen. What I specially liked was the good atmosphere and cooperation among the journalists, and their readiness to help each other, said Savremena Gimnazija Year 3 student Sofija Milošević.
I acquired a new and interesting experience at Television Sport Club. I witnessed how the programmes are made, the way the production works; I’ve heard commentators broadcasting the game, said Sofija Stevanović, a Year 2 student.
Recently our school Savremena Gimnazija organised the visit to a sport television. The people working there welcomed us and showed all the most important things that a high school student can find intriguing when thinking of future professional engagement on television, about sport and athletes. For me personally, this was a reminder of how good it is to work as a TV presenter as I’ve had a three-year long experience in working at a television. I wish to thank my school and especially to my teacher Marija Pilčević Tomašević for enabling me to gain all this joy and the latest knowledge, as we can witness that the job of a TV presenter, that is of a journalist and or of any employee in the field, keeps changing year after year in correspondence with contemporary technologies. Besides, as we are Savremena Gimnazija, this was an ideal place for learning and socialising, said Aleksandra Mosurović, a Savremena Gimnazija Year 3 student.
As any experience, this was unique in its own way and I am so glad that I have had the chance to be a part of the team who visited Television Sport club. Having practically grown up surrounded by television and the very story of it, I haven’t seen so many new things. Still, my biggest impression was made by the sport commentators who actually watch live games and comment them. Honestly, I don’t think I would be able to do something like that, because, above all, I don’t know that much about sport. What I learnt was what writing a news article looks like and how smooth is the whole process of exchanging information and that it is crucial for running a media company. I am looking forward to another visit, because not that I’ve learnt something new, I’ve also had great time, said a Savremena Gimnazija Year 2 student Lara Veselinović.
