On 18 October, the students of Savremena Gimnazija had the opportunity to visit the BOSIFEST festival organised by the Handy Centre "Koloseum" at the Yugoslav Film Archive.
This year, the International Film Festival for and by Persons with Disabilities was presented for the thirteenth time to the audience at the Yugoslav Film Archive under the slogan "Invisible Lines", showing very interesting films that present people with disabilities in different life circumstances.
Accepting diversity and a better understanding of the needs of people with disabilities
Films help to better understand people with disabilities and their needs and to embrace diversity by pointing out the human values embodied in acceptance and giving. This year, over 150 films from 36 countries all over the world were submitted. Selector Miroljub Stojanović chose 16 films, which were shown from 17 to 19 October at the Yugoslav Film Archive.
The BOSIFEST festival was attended by students from classes I-1 and III-6, together with Ivan Davidović, the school's pedagogue, Zoran Putniković, a Serbian language and literature teacher, and Natalija Davidović, the technical secretary.
