As in previous years, the professors of Savremena Gimnazija organised activities for students as part of Intelligence Day, which is organised by Mensa Serbia.
Namely, professors Milica Aleksić and Tamara Rajinac prepared a competition for students of first-grade classes attending the Combined programme. The students were expected to divide themselves into six teams, based on their knowledge of their abilities, within which they would solve a series of tasks and thus win points for their class. Some of the tasks also required the use of modern technologies (computers and iPads).
Achieving the goal with good organisation and teamwork
The idea of these competitions is to develop awareness among students that everyone is talented or good at something. The tasks required different types of talent (linguistic, verbal, musical, logical, spatial, detective, etc.) and thus motivated the students to achieve their goals with good organisation, division of roles and teamwork.
The students had a lot of fun, trained their brains, cooperated and helped each other in order to collect as many points as possible.
After adding up the points, the winners were announced – the students of class I-7.
You can also find this activity on the event map on the Intelligence Day website.
