Peer educators of Savremena held a workshop on Sustainable Development

Klara Petrović and Sofija Ivković, class III-2 students, and Lara Veselinović, class III-6 student, found themselves in the role of peer educators and held a workshop on the topic of Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection.

The students attended the training for secondary school students, that is, peer educators within the project BG School of Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection, which is traditionally held annually and is organised by the Centre for Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development (CEPOR) and the Faculty of Political Sciences.

The peer education was also attended by the representatives of the Student Parliament of the 1st and 2nd grades, who will continue to pass on all the new information in homeroom classes.

Only words of praise for the peer educators of Savremena Gimnazija

Klara, Sofija and Lara were up to the task – they prepared well for the workshop, and showed a high degree of independence, commitment and exceptional presentation skills. We have only words of praise for the peer educators of Savremena Gimnazija.

I am extremely pleased and proud to be the parent of a Savremena student. During my first encounter with the school management, when I asked about my child’s potential enrolment, I saw how much love, enthusiasm and professionalism you put in your work. I was impressed by your approach, ideas and methods. I couldn’t believe something like this existed in our country! It doesn’t take long to realise that this is a school you would recommend to everyone. Creativity, modern technology, top-quality education, and most of all, the humaneness that can be seen throughout the school, make it truly different and worthy of its name – Savremena Gimnazija. With such an approach, the success of this school and, consequently, our children’s success, is unavoidable. Congratulations! Jelena Đorđević, Andrija’s mum

Teaching is supported by the interactive whiteboards and educational software, whereas practice exercises research and critical thinking.
