As part of the workshops on the topic of professional orientation and career guidance and counselling, third and fourth-grade students of Savremena Gimnazija had the opportunity to attend the workshop "Finance from A to Z" on Friday, 10 February.

In cooperation with the school's pedagogue Ivan Davidović, the workshop was once again held this year by Dr Katarina Đulić, a professor from the FEFA Faculty, co-founder of the European Research Academy of Belgrade and the Centre for Advanced Economic Studies, advisor to the company KPMG, IFC (International Finance Corporation) and EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) and member of the management board of several institutions.

The workshop was attended by students of classes III-5, III-6 and IV-2, as well as the school’s psychologist Marija Janićijević.

Economic training for a successful and fulfilled life in the 21st century

At Savremena Gimnazija, students learn how to manage personal finances. They start by learning how to manage their pocket money and then move on to more complex tasks to master the skills that they will need later in life. In this way, children are trained for a successful and fulfilled life in the 21st century.

I am extremely pleased and proud to be the parent of a Savremena student. During my first encounter with the school management, when I asked about my child’s potential enrolment, I saw how much love, enthusiasm and professionalism you put in your work. I was impressed by your approach, ideas and methods. I couldn’t believe something like this existed in our country! It doesn’t take long to realise that this is a school you would recommend to everyone. Creativity, modern technology, top-quality education, and most of all, the humaneness that can be seen throughout the school, make it truly different and worthy of its name – Savremena Gimnazija. With such an approach, the success of this school and, consequently, our children’s success, is unavoidable. Congratulations! Jelena Đorđević, Andrija’s mum
