Students of Savremena Gimnazija carried out an interesting geography project

During the second semester, third-grade students of Savremena Gimnazija carried out a very interesting geography project. The goal of the project was for students to work in groups and create a video presentation which would last up to five minutes and present the natural beauties and tourist attractions of a particular part of Serbia. The project was carried out in March and May.

In groups of four, students travelled across our country, visiting various areas such as Avala, Kosmaj, Deliblatska peščara, Pančevo, Novi Sad, as well as Lake Palić. During their visits, they recorded the most attractive locations and notable landmarks, accompanied by appropriate stories about the history, geography, tourism, and cuisine of each region.

For their completed project, students received a grade in geography. However, in addition to the grade they earned, they also acquired additional skills such as video editing, practising narration and diction, researching various sources of information, as well as spatial orientation and planning routes and budgets.
