First graders of Savremena visited the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA) as part of the Parents at Work project

On Friday, 17 November, the students of I-4, along with their class teacher, had the opportunity to visit the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA) as part of the Parents at Work project.

They were hosted by professor Goran Radosavljević, who gave the students a brief lecture on studies, as well as current economic trends facing the world. The students had the chance to hear about business updates, see what a typical working day of a university professor looks like and get answers to all questions related to this very interesting profession.

Students are exploring the various possibilities awaiting them after their education

The "Parents at Work" project was initiated at Savremena Gimnazija to allow students to familiarise themselves with various professions, industries and private businesses and thus explore the various possibilities awaiting them after their education. Within this project, the parents of our students will be able to host students from the class their child attends at their workplaces, introduce them to their profession and allow them to firsthand glimpse into the life of adults.

We look forward to new visits as part of the project.

I am extremely pleased and proud to be the parent of a Savremena student. During my first encounter with the school management, when I asked about my child’s potential enrolment, I saw how much love, enthusiasm and professionalism you put in your work. I was impressed by your approach, ideas and methods. I couldn’t believe something like this existed in our country! It doesn’t take long to realise that this is a school you would recommend to everyone. Creativity, modern technology, top-quality education, and most of all, the humaneness that can be seen throughout the school, make it truly different and worthy of its name – Savremena Gimnazija. With such an approach, the success of this school and, consequently, our children’s success, is unavoidable. Congratulations! Jelena Đorđević, Andrija’s mum
