The competition in creating a business plan was held on 16 December as part of the project "Start-up and Student Entrepreneurship – Conceptualise an Idea and Put it into Action", organised by the Belgrade Banking Academy – Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance (BBA). Fifteen teams from across Serbia participated in the competition.
The team representing Savremena Gimnazija consisted of Teodora Nikolić (III-5), Anđela Petrović (III-5) and Duško Božanić (II-7). The team coordinator was teacher Gordana Ristić, who worked diligently with the students, advising and guiding them on how to conceptualise an idea, create a business plan and present it.
The goal of the project and the competition was to encourage high school students in Serbia to actively work on developing their innovative entrepreneurial ideas. To acquire knowledge for successful navigation in the business world, creating a quality business plan and developing business skills, several workshops were held before the competition at the Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance (BBA).
According to teacher Gordana, our students invested significant effort and time, dedicating themselves to this project. They successfully created a business plan and presented an idea that was well-received and praised by the jury, consisting of renowned professors and business professionals from banks and the economy. The knowledge and experience they gained will help them in further education and even more successful participation in similar projects.
We commend the participants in the competition and wish them much success in future competitions and upcoming projects!
