The Case Study Club, part of the Business Case Association Southeast Europe (BCA SEE), and the Faculty of Organisational Sciences organised the competition High School Case Competition 2023 from 6 to 16 December, in which students from Savremena Gimnazija participated.
This year, younger generations, including high school seniors, were included in the High School Case Competition project, giving students from Savremena Gimnazija the opportunity to show their innovation and creativity in the business world and develop teamwork and leadership skills.
The first phase of the project consisted of online workshops and the second phase involved solving a business case study in collaboration with mentors. After submitting the case study solutions, 42 teams in Serbia were selected, and in the online semifinals, they presented their solutions to the jury, competing for a place in the finals. Six teams, including the team from Savremena Gimnazija, presented their solutions live at the Faculty of Organisational Sciences.
The team from Savremena Gimnazija called "B2B" consisted of Jovana Savić, Lara Otanjac and Tijana Pavlović, students of class IV-5, with their mentor, teacher Maja Merdović. Our girls reached the finals of the competition, placing among the top 6 teams. The finals took place on 16 December at the Faculty of Organisational Sciences.
In addition to teacher Maja Merdović, teacher Gordana Ristić also assisted in preparing the students for the competition.
Congratulations to all the students and mentors for their participation and great success.
