Savremena Gimnazija students attended winter Spanish language school in Valencia

Savremena Gimnazija students had the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the Spanish language in an exciting and unique way by attending the winter Spanish language school in Valencia from 11 to 21 January.

Ensuring that this linguistic journey became unforgettable was the global language network Verbalists Education, owned by the educational group PRODIREKT. The language network also provided supervision for this programme. It is important to highlight and commend their long-standing partner, Españolé IH Valencia, recognised as a leading language school not only in Spain but also in Europe.

Classes were held in a Gothic palace from the 13th century

Students had the chance to explore Valencia, where history meets the future in a unique way, and to enjoy the charms of a city that is an extraordinary blend of tradition and modern vibes.

The most impactful experience for the attendees of the winter school was learning the Spanish language and socialising at Españolé IH, where classes are held in a Gothic palace from the 13th century.

Located in the lively El Carmen neighbourhood, surrounded by narrow streets and bustling squares, it is a school for an extraordinary experience. Españolé IH is accredited by the Cervantes Institute and is part of the International House World Organisation.

Students spent their time discovering Spanish culture and having various adventures

In addition to language learning, our students spent their time in Valencia discovering Spanish culture and having various adventures. They participated in different educational activities such as a quiz tour of the Old Town, a visit to the fascinating City of Arts and Sciences, exploring the cities of Xativa and Gandia, dance lessons, and a workshop on cooking the famous paella.

Reviewing numerous posts and contributions on the Verbalists language network's websites and social media (Facebook / Instagram), we can see that our students had a fantastic time.

The acquired language knowledge (both English and Spanish) is invaluable

They returned from this trip full of impressions, new knowledge and friends, as evidenced by a comment Verbalists received from the parent of a student who attended the language school in Valencia:

Amazing organisation, hats off. My child returned full of impressions. The schedule for students is perfectly organised; every segment of the day is fulfilled. The acquired language knowledge (both English and Spanish) is invaluable. We are considering further education. Thank you so much!

We eagerly anticipate the new journeys of our students, where, along with acquired knowledge and new friends, they will get to know more cities and countries.

I am extremely pleased and proud to be the parent of a Savremena student. During my first encounter with the school management, when I asked about my child’s potential enrolment, I saw how much love, enthusiasm and professionalism you put in your work. I was impressed by your approach, ideas and methods. I couldn’t believe something like this existed in our country! It doesn’t take long to realise that this is a school you would recommend to everyone. Creativity, modern technology, top-quality education, and most of all, the humaneness that can be seen throughout the school, make it truly different and worthy of its name – Savremena Gimnazija. With such an approach, the success of this school and, consequently, our children’s success, is unavoidable. Congratulations! Jelena Đorđević, Andrija’s mum
Contemporary in any sense of the word, our school offers functional knowledge and quality preparation for tertiary education in Serbia and abroad. Implementing modern and creative teaching in the classroom, where the teachers’ pedagogy and students’ performance are aligned with the highest academic standards for the high-school finals, our school develops linguistic, mathematical, scientific, artistic, cultural, technical and ICT competence, which is a prerequisite for further education and professional development. Teaching is supported by the interactive whiteboards and educational software, whereas practice exercises research and critical thinking.
