Our Savremena High School and final-year student, Natalija Janković, distinguished herself with her knowledge and enthusiasm, winning first place and the magazine "Pozitron," confirming her potential and interest in chemical sciences.
Educational goals and mission of the Faculty of Chemistry
Chemistry studies at the Faculty of Chemistry in Belgrade, as well as at many other universities worldwide, have two goals that are manifested to varying degrees through the study content. Providing comprehensive education in basic chemical disciplines is the first goal.
This goal is dedicated to the largest part of basic chemistry studies. It is necessary to better understand the foundations of today's chemical sciences, based on over 200 years of extremely complex and demanding research that has continually expanded its scope. In addition, chemistry studies aim to provide students with guidance in all applied aspects of chemical sciences without which modern society and its realization in technological and civilizational terms cannot be imagined.
