On Wednesday, 22 May, students of Savremena gimnazija, under the initiative of their sociology teacher Ana Brkić Jovanović, visited the organization "Sounds of the Heart". This organization includes a café and a workshop run by a team of 33 colleagues, 26 of whom are individuals with developmental disabilities.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn about the functioning of the employees, enjoy drinks served on a donation basis, and purchase products made independently by the employees. In a pleasant and beautiful setting, with great hospitality from everyone at "Sounds of the Heart", students shared experiences and emotions, supported the organization's work, and discussed all aspects of this type of socially engaged entrepreneurship with their teacher.
