Marija Janićijević
School Psychologist Marija Janićijević had a degree in psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy, the University of Belgrade.
Her focus and the study module was educational psychology. She sees active psychological and advisory engagement with children and youth as a major factor of prevention against mental disorders and the path towards mental well-being. During her undergraduate studies she worked with children who needed additional support. Besides, she participated in projects which struggled against stigma to people who have mental problems. Upon graduation, together with a colleague, she established and coordinated projects devoted to listening to, raising awareness of, guidance and advising of adolescents. She is an associate for education and entertainment of pre-school children in several state kindergartens in Belgrade. She provides guidance and advice for Systematic family therapy within the Association of Systematic Therapists. What she cherishes most while in the classroom is conversation, innovation, actively establishing connection between theory and praxis. She firmly believes that psychology and advisory support provide for a wide and open path towards healthy personality development.
She spends her free time with friends, she also likes walking and reading.
