Cambridge rewards for Savremena’s brightest students
International School students are highly motivated to achieve excellent academic results because that enables them to receive prestigious awards and scholarships which Cambridge International Examinations and the Cambridge Trust grant only to the best students.
Students who attend the Cambridge programme are eligible as award and scholarship contenders. We believe that many of our students will achieve excellent results and be ranked among the very best in the world.
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award includes a number of awards bestowed by Cambridge International Examinations. Students across the world who achieve excellent results and demonstrate a remarkable performance on their IGCSE and A-Level exams receive this award.
The subject specific and subject-group specific exam scores of each student in the world who took the said examinations in a given year are recorded in the Cambridge database so that those who receive the awards can truly be considered the best in their field.
Depending on their achievements, International School students can receive the following awards: Top in the World, Top in Country, Best Across and High Achievement.
The Top in the World Award is given to students across the world who achieve the highest mark in a particular subject. There can be a number of students who meet the said requirement, they may even come from the same country or the same school and since their achievements are of equal value, all of the students will receive the award in the given subject.
The Top in Country Award is given to the student who received the best result in a particular subject in a country. Again, multiple students can be eligible for the awards since there can be a number of those who received the same mark in a particular subject.
The High Achievement Award is given to students who achieve remarkable results in subjects that are not typically taken up by most students and because of which they are not eligible for the Top in Country category. That is why students from the same country who achieve excellent results in the appropriate subjects are given the High Achievement Award.
The Best Across Award is given to students who achieve the best results in a subject category depending on the student’s level so either the:
- Cambridge IGCSE® - 8 subjects,
- Cambridge International AS Level - 4 subjects,
- Cambridge International A Level - 3 subjects.
International School students who demonstrate spectacular results can expect to receive one of the aforementioned awards. The awards are much like an additional qualification in that they give students an advantage in their further education and increases their chances of receiving a scholarship.

In addition, The Pexim Foundation and the Cambridge Trust, which grant the aforementioned scholarships partnered up to grant a total of 5 students from Serbia and Macedonia a scholarship for the University of Cambridge. Their further education is financed by the two institutions, regardless of the subject matter or the fields the students wish to pursue.
