Savremena International School at the top regional conference New Technologies in Education

Savremena International School, as a part of LINK group, participated at the biggest regional conference and fair on “New Technologies in Education”, held on 26 and 27 Februrary at the Belexpocentar.

The topic of this year’s fair was the use of information and communications technology (ICT) in education; Savremena International School presented the latest technology and software solutions implemented in teaching, and promoted its innovative approach to modern education.

The most popular stand at the fair

2 LINK group’s stand at the fair attracted the largest number of visitors; they were offered useful lectures on the implementation of innovative solutions in modern education. The visitors were also invited to try the interactive board, virtual reality glasses, and tablet devices used in teaching at Savremena International School.

The visitors were also introduced to software such as the e-Learning platform, electronic diary, SMS service, and student and parent portals, along with other solutions that serve to comprehensively advance this educational institution’s operations. Interesting lectures on the use of technology in education

The principal of Savremena International School, Svetlana Belić Malinić, delivered a lecture on “How to Creatively Use Technology in Teaching”, which attracted a large number of visitors. Savremena International School teacher Tatjana Vilček discussed the development of critical thinking in the classroom, while the school’s learning support assistant Tijana Rajić concluded the first day of the fair with her lecture on work in groups and project tasks.

During the second day, Tatjana Vilček presented the subject Global Perspectives, which she teaches at Savremena International School, through her presentation “Cambridge Global Perspectives in Practice”. At the conclusion, Svetlana Belić Malinić explained the impact that various educational applications have on the advancement of teaching.

Savremena International School and LINK group used their high-profile participation at the third fair organised by the British Council and the British Embassy as a good opportunity to present the inspiring solutions that serve in order to advance the entire education process.
