Erasmus+ project "GARDENS": Promoting ecologically sustainable and healthy eating habits among high school students

In the era of digitalization and a growing awareness of sustainability, Savremena Gimnazija continues to set standards in the education sector. This time, the school is part of an ambitious international Erasmus+ project titled "GARDENS" aiming to promote ecologically sustainable and healthy eating habits among high school students through hybrid educational schemes.

What is the GARDENS project?

GARDENS is an innovative project that brings together schools and educational institutions from various European countries with the goal of promoting sustainable practices and healthy nutrition. The project uses digital tools and methods, including the development of a mobile application, as well as field activities and research.

The role of Savremena Gimnazija

As a partner in this project, Savremena Gimnazija plays a crucial role in the research phase, participates in pilot activities and implements local training in Serbia. Additionally, the school will actively engage in promoting and disseminating the project at the local level.

Partners

Magura School from France (Guadeloupe) is the coordinator of the project GARDENS and the partners are various educational and research institutions from Europe: NEST Berlin from Germany, HYPEX and the University of UNISS from Italy, Savremena Gimnazija from Serbia and Lykeio-Agiou-Ioanni from Cyprus. This international team will work together over the next two years to promote ecologically sustainable and healthy eating habits among the student population through innovative hybrid educational schemes.
