Dejan Udovičić

Head Coach of the USA National Water Polo team,  Dejan Udovičić is a member of a sport elite, whose sportsmanship has inspired generations of young people. In his seven years of coaching the Serbian national team, he has won a total of 11 gold medals, including winning three FINA Water Polo World Cups, the World Championship in Rome, the European Championship in Belgrade and a bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics. Having coached both the national water polo team and the Radnički water polo club, Dejan has greatly contributed to the rising popularity of sports in Serbia. In 2009, he won the Coach of the Year award. Dejan has collaborated with a number of his colleagues on campaigns promoting a healthy lifestyle, one of which was the “Quit smoking - insure your life” campaign against smoking.
