In cooperation with the Association of Serbian lifeguards on water (USVS), Savremena organised a talk/educational workshop for its senior students, which focused on the safety and prevention of accidents while on water or close to it.
The aim of this training was to enable students to become aware of the necessary preventive measures regarding injuries and drowning and the steps to be made in case of emergency.
Senior students learned about the possibility to do a course, get qualified and work as lifeguards during the summer season.
PE teacher from the Canary Islands joined the workshop
The talk was attended by Guillermo Alamo, a colleague PE teacher from César Manrique school, Lanzarote (the Canary Islands, Spain), who is the guest at Savremena and a participant in the project Routes between IES César Manrique and the 21st century Europe, as a part of Erasmus+ KA122 – SCH project.
