Guitarist Nikola Milosavljević impresses audience at ‘Autumn in Čukarica’

On 28 September, Savremena’s guitarist Nikola Milosavljević took part in the ‘Autumn in Čukarica’ music event, as one of the young talents from the Vatroslav Jagić music school.

For the first time, Nikola performed Movement III of Paganini’s ‘Grand Sonata’ during the final evening of the event.

The 22nd iteration of the ‘Autumn in Čukarica’ music event took place 24 – 28 September at the Čukarica Cultural Centre. The students from the music school performed on the fifth day.

A string of successful performances continues

This year, Nikola has achieved notable results at several local and international music festivals.

In March, he came fourth at the 19th international Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade. He won first and second place in various categories at the national competition of music school students, and second place at a contest in Novi Sad. Nikola also showed his unique ability in Europe, by winning third place at a competition in Austria, and he also performed at two music events, in Arilje and Vienna, which took place this summer.

Our student has once again shown the possibilities of great talent and dedication. We are certain that with this successful performance, he has embarked on a new season of competitions filled with accomplishments. We congratulate him and wish him plenty of luck!

I am extremely pleased and proud to be the parent of a Savremena student. During my first encounter with the school management, when I asked about my child’s potential enrolment, I saw how much love, enthusiasm and professionalism you put in your work. I was impressed by your approach, ideas and methods. I couldn’t believe something like this existed in our country! It doesn’t take long to realise that this is a school you would recommend to everyone. Creativity, modern technology, top-quality education, and most of all, the humaneness that can be seen throughout the school, make it truly different and worthy of its name – Savremena Gimnazija. With such an approach, the success of this school and, consequently, our children’s success, is unavoidable. Congratulations! Jelena Đorđević, Andrija’s mum
