International School, as an IB World School, helps its students enrol in the best world universities with little difficulty, thanks to its diverse curriculum, a program that covers diverse topics and interests, and an approach that teaches students to respect diversity, develop critical thinking, nurture their curiosity, successfully solve complex problems, and encourages lifelong learning.
Comprehensive curriculum
Designed as a combination of compulsory and elective courses/subjects, the IB Diploma Programme helps students acquire comprehensive knowledge and guides them toward wholesome personality development.
In this way, students nurture a holistic approach to education by learning both sciences and humanities, as well as foreign languages, and moreover, they are allowed to choose a subject/course within the group that best suits their preferences and talents.
Internationally recognised IB Diploma and certificates
The IB Diploma programme allows students to obtain a prestigious IB diploma (The Diploma of the International Baccalaureate), which will open the doors of the world’s best universities.
Students who opt for the IB Diploma program at International School can also acquire individual certificates for different courses/subjects in the program (Diploma Programme Course Results / DP Course Results) if they have not collected enough points for an IB Diploma.
Doors of the world’s best universities are wide open to you
The IB Diploma programme is very diverse, and as such, helps students who are yet undecided on what they want to study to make the right decision. It focuses on the development of critical thinking, digital competencies and psychosocial skills, not only through the official curriculum, but also through participation in various extracurricular activities.
Mathematics, which is in most cases, an integral element of entrance exams for universities around the world, is a compulsory subject in the IB Diploma Program. For this reason, IB students do extremely well in entrance exams for university science programs.
The right choice for young people who want to study in America
The IB Diploma Programme is the first choice of students who see their future in one of the universities in the United States.
This does not mean that students with IB diplomas can ONLY continue their education in America. On the contrary – the IB diploma opens the doors of all world universities, and is becoming increasingly sought-after in Europe and Asia.
English-only programme
In the IB Diploma programme, the curriculum is in English, and students can choose whether they want to add Serbian Language and Literature among their courses, and thus nurture the culture and tradition of their native country.
It has been proved that IB students have better performance
IB students apply to more than 3,300 higher education institutions in 90 countries every year, and available research shows that students who complete this program are more likely to pursue higher education than those who attended other programs.
